Fort Myers, Florida - December 26, 2008 - Brian Joseph Studios LLC has announced that 2008 was the company’s most successful year to date in their four year history with growth of over 600% in areas such as staff, office locations and revenue generated.

With headquarters in Fort Myers, Florida, Brian Joseph Studios LLC expanded its operations internationally in 2008, opening offices in both Ireland and England. “It has been a wonderful year for the company, and all involved. We have enjoyed working with all types of business owners and marketing teams. We acquired a client in Hawaii and a few more in England and Ireland, so we are excited about the expansion into these markets outside of Southwest Florida” says Mr. Brian Yerkes, Owner and Creative Director of Brian Joseph Studios LLC.

The staff team at Brian Joseph Studios has now grown to fifteen employees located in several countries around the world, all working remotely yet closely together on each project. This growth has allowed Brian Yerkes to further the brand and business development of Brian Joseph Studios outside of Fort Myers and Naples Florida, and this has led to a 600% increase in the overall revenue generated in 2008.

Brian Joseph Studios LLC is now considered Fort Myers web design and Naples web design experts and there is no sign of them stopping or easing up. Recent clients acquired include the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce and Southwest Florida’s leading hotel & resort management company, Sunstream Hotels & Resorts.

Yerkes looks forward to the year ahead and says “2009 looks set to be an extremely interesting year for social media and online marketing, as personal and human interaction becomes even more important through the vast array of online channels available, and companies of all sizes are no longer going to be asking “why” they need to interact socially online with their market; they will be asking “how”.

In addition, and thanks to our clients for their continued business, we were able to donate a percentage of our income to charity. This is an important aspect of being in business for Brian Joseph Studios, and because of our success, we are delighted to have the opportunity to help those less fortunate.

So, those are just a few notes from looking at 2008 in review, and we are excited about the potential that 2009 is showing for it to be an even better year. We have accepted a few new clients in December and we are looking forward to working with them, along with our current clients in the New Year, and helping them achieve even more success.

Each year around this time, the Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce holds their Annual Holiday Party. On December 13th, the leading professional business men and women will network and have a few drinks at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa in Fort Myers. Brian Joseph Studios is a main sponsor for this event and sponsorship proceeds will be going to the “Toys for Tots” Foundation. We are always excited to become more involved in the community, and recently became involved with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital as you can read in this previous post. A very popular new website gaining a lot of attention in the web design industry right now is pleasecritiqueme.com.  The purpose of the site is to create “a place where designers can submit their work and have it reviewed by one of their industry peers.”

Prior to the website launch, the “Please Critique Me” staff researched a large number of web designers in the international online community. Brian Yerkes, owner of Brian Joseph Studios, was asked to join the team of critics on the site and to provide expert knowledge and advice on all areas of web design, from usability to creative design and functionality.

With the current economy, and after speaking to many colleagues, friends, and family, we here at Brian Joseph Studios feel extremely lucky to be doing a steady high volume of projects and client work as many other businesses fail and more people become unemployed.

2 days ago, we made a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and were surprised to receive a large number of Melting Pot gift certificates in return. What a great idea! The Melting Pot doubles the money you donate and they also give you $20 gift cards that you can use for your next meal at the restaurant.

So, rather than use all of these for ourselves (although some of the team here REALLY like the Melting Pot!), we thought it would be fun to say thanks to our clients for supporting us throughout the year, and give these gift cards to a number of them. We don’t have one for every client, so we are going to randomly choose who we send one to.

FortMyersBeach.org - New Website Due To Launch!

One of the main events coming up is the Fort Myers Beach Chamber website launch, as featured in the Augsut 2008 Gulf Shore Business Magazine. I am quoted as saying that the new FortMyersBeach.org will feature “advertising opportunities and a stunning design, and it will be extremely user-friendly”. This quote only touches on some of the features and tools that the new Chamber website will have.

Each member will have the opportunity to have an online account where they can manage their membership information, and business listing and profile information. In addition, each member will be able to fully customize their own profile page where they are encouraged to display any specials, offers, discounts, company news etc.

This new feature will give the members the opportunity to promote themselves much more effectively through the website.

The new website will also have a high level of search engine optimization carried out, and one of the main focuses of the website is to attract an even higher number of visitors each year.

I will create a post about the new site once it is launched. Also, in the coming weeks, we will be posting information on the other 4 websites we are launching in August, along with some of the logos in production.

This week’s client focus features one of our international clients, “All Save Energy Solutions” located in Ireland.

Here in America, we are only slowly starting to embrace the green in our lives, but in Ireland, this has been a standard in daily lives for many, many years. A small example of this, is that Irish households do not continually waste energy to keep water heated throughout the day. In Ireland, they have what are called “immersions”, where water is heated when the immersion is turned on. This means that they only use energy needed to heat the water when they are actually going to use the heated water. One negative involved in this is that you have to turn the immersion on 30 minutes before you need the water. Most come equipped with a timer so that you can schedule that morning shower!

“All Save Energy Solutions”, is a consultancy based firm located in Ireland. Since the BER legislation was passed, each house is now required to pass an energy rating. All Save Energy Solution provides certified professional BER rating assessors to rate your property and to provide energy saving solutions.

Brian Joseph Studios designed a striking logo and web design for All Save Energy Solutions in December 2007. In addition, a strong search engine optimization campaign was added to the strategy and since then, the website has enjoyed much success. All Save Energy Solutions now receives over 80% of all contracts from their website, and most of their website’s traffic comes from search engines.

We look forward to growing the website for this client in the coming months, and we will also be meeting with them in Ireland in one weeks’ time.

We have had this client for over 3 years now, and have enjoyed a lot of growth together during that time.

The modern, upscale logo got them underway with a perfect identity that would allow for future business growth and diversity. The marina’s growth from their advertising and from our designs can be seen in the level of increased revenue generated from tourist activity like boat rentals, rackominium purchases and service department clients.
